Ruk'u'x Ulew Ceremonial-Grade Cacao Nibs - 1lb bag

Ruk'u'x Ulew Ceremonial-Grade Cacao Nibs - 1lb bag

This organic Ruk’u’x Ulew (”Heart of the Earth”) cacao is grown at an indigenous family farm in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. Once harvested, the cacao is sent to Lake Atitlán, where a women’s collective carefully selects the best beans and roasts them over a wood fire. The result is a ceremonial cacao with a delicious malty flavor and a life of its own. Naturally Gluten-Free & Vegan.

Cacao has been celebrated as “Food of the Gods” in Central and South America since ancient times, long before the chocolate industry altered the original treasure.

Soul Lift Cacao is proud to help the re-emergence of pure ceremonial cacao by working directly with the people preserving traditions.

Add to smoothies, oatmeal, ice cream, yogurt, baked goods, bliss balls, etc. Or just enjoy by themselves! After opening, transfer to an airtight container. (If you’re interested in making cacao drinks, we recommend cacao paste for that!)

NOTE: Packaging may differ slightly from the photos here. Some melting of cacao paste may occur during shipping. This shouldn’t be a problem in terms of the quality of the cacao, but the shape may be different than pictured. Smooth white areas are most likely the natural cacao butter. Reach out if you have any questions.

Paypal payment is preferred over credit card due to lower processing fees. Thanks for helping a small business get off the ground!
