Cacao Ceremony at the Palace

  • The Emerald Palace 3303 South Emerald Avenue Chicago, IL, 60616 United States (map)

Pure cacao is a traditional plant medicine long used in indigenous cultures for meditative and celebratory purposes. It fosters inner and outer connection, opens the heart, modulates mood, and increases focus. Facilitator Nick Meador serves Mayan cacao grown organically in northern Guatemala obtained directly from the farmer.

We'll have cacao in an opening intention circle, go through the OSHO Gourishankar meditation involving gentle breathwork, candle gazing, and energy flow, and then have a sharing circle to support with anything that arises in the journey.

Suggested donation $15. If you feel called but funds are a problem, contact Nick at and we can arrange a work-trade.

Nick’s mission is to empower and liberate people in a sustainable way, by helping them tap into a source of direction, purpose and meaning within themselves.

Nick synthesizes a variety of conscious communication and awareness systems into an innovative approach to healing and self-development. This ranges from the practical (Nonviolent Communication) to the esoteric (shamanism).

This journey will be held at the Emerald Palace located at 3303 South Emerald avenue in Bridgeport, Chicago
